Nairn Half Marathon
The race is part of the Nairn Highland Games. Starting and finishing within the games arena, it travels by the beach front and harbour before heading through open countryside along a fairly flat and scenic course before turning back in and back to the arena where the runners may finish to the sound of the massed pipes and drums. There are 4 water stations along the way, and a bespoke medal and goody bag are provided for all finishers.
Promoted under SAL rules. Entrants must be over 17 years on race day. Entry fee is £13.00 if you pre-enter or £15.00 on the day. SAL registered runners will receive a discount when producing their SAL number.
Registration; 11am to 12pm at the registration tent near the Cricket Pavilion, The links Nairn.
Online entry closes at Midnight Monday 12th August 2019 at £13.00
On the day entry £15.00 at the registration tent 12pm prompt.
There is a race limit of 2hrs 30mins, after which we will have to withdraw course support services- this time limit will only be changed due to weather conditions. If there is any change to the time limit it will be announced at the start. Changing facilities are available within the games changing tents, we are sorry but we do not have a secure area for your property while race takes place. We do regret that showering facilities are unavailable however the beach is only a stones throw away!!
